UStad is a storytelling platform that shares impactful, human-centered news from the city of Utrecht. Built in collaboration with RTV Utrecht, the app highlights voices that often go unheard — from local changemakers and youth with a mission, to newcomers launching neighborhood initiatives.

Unlike traditional news outlets, UStad takes a grassroots approach. We dive into the city’s neighborhoods, listen to what truly matters to its residents, and co-create stories that reflect the heart of Utrecht. These aren’t just headlines — they’re portraits of real people and real issues shaping the city.
